UNiTED has developed health education manuals, information and tools. These are all based on research outcomes and have been assessed on cultural and target group appropriateness. Some projects run all year round, some are repeated several times a year, others are offered once a year. We evaluate our projects once a year and change our tools and materials when necessary.

By organizing health information distribution in local health care facilities and at public places (e.g. taxi stations, local market areas) UNiTED aims to provide health information on the most common health concerns in the area, and to change the focus from treatment to prevention. We  also respond directly to disease outbreaks by providing the necessary education and tools.

By providing health education and information at schools UNiTED aims to encourage, support and improve health knowledge and health seeking behavior of students in primary, secondary and Junior High schools in the area.

By organizing outreach health education during holidays and events UNiTED aims to expand the provision of accessible health information to a broader group of community members.

By organizing a workshop on topics like uncomplicated delivery, danger signs during pregnancy and preparation for delivery UNiTED aims to encourage, support and improve health knowledge and health seeking behavior of pregnant women and their family.
